Each class is unique and small in size. Students can focus on growing as an artist with lots of personal attention from experienced instructors, while being part of a larger clay community. Our studio is well equipped with electric wheels, slab rollers, extruders, electric & gas kilns and a common glaze area. Please scroll down to view our class and workshop policies.
Gift Certificates are available for any amount and are a wonderful opportunity to help you give the gift of clay to those who would really enjoy it. Gift certificates can be put towards classes, workshops or gallery purchases.
Our Student Handbook has everything a student will need to know in order to make the most out of their experience here at Clay Art Center. Now you can download it too!

This program is made possible, in part by the Basic Program Support grant of Arts Westchester with funds from Westchester County Government and grants from the New York State Council on the Arts.
For over 50 years, the Clay Art Center (CAC) has been the largest and most active ceramics facility in Westchester county, dedicated solely to the advancement of the ceramic arts. Believing strongly that the arts has the ability to touch and enrich lives, our mission is to offer a stimulating space for studio practice, exhibition and educational opportunities to better serve the community. Our vision is to "kindle a passion for the ceramic arts and provide a community for that passion to flourish."
