How can you grow and improve your work? In this all-talk critiquing class, learn about your work through others' eyes, and about yourself through others' work. There are as many teachers in a classroom as there are students. These weekly sessions for advanced students will help to hone your critical eye, and to take the next step in the development of your body of work. We will tackle formal issues, presentation questions and share helpful technical hints. We will discuss form, gesture, function, presentation, context and content. Whether your foundation is wheel throwing or hand-building, we share a common material, and a common love for making. Each class will feature a "show and tell" with constructive criticism, allowing each student to give and receive feedback. Students will be asked to bring finished work for discussion.
