of the Clay Art Center and the honorees of the evening
Lala & Jim Howard
Lala & Jim Howard met and nurtured their artistic skills and passion for clay at the Clay Art Center in the early ‘60’s. By the time they left in the '70's as a married couple, they had absorbed the creative life force that was the essence of CAC and used it to fuel their own careers as ceramic artists, spanning more than 50 years. They currently live in Croton-On-Hudson and still find immense fulfillment in their daily studio practice.
Local Restaurants will be serving delicious food. There will be music, silent & live auctions and clay demonstrations.
Proceeds from the Benefit will fund Clay Art Center’s community programming, Scholarships for Local Youths and the Artist in Residence Program.
This year’s Benefit Co-Chairs will be Carol Chevlowe & Georgia Tenore.
