Clay Art Center is honored to recognize several individuals who have made significant contributions to us over the years. We have created memorial funds in their honor.

Georgia Tenore Youth Scholarship Fund

Named in memory of Georgia Tenore, a long time teacher and artist at Clay Art Center. Her love for clay and teaching, especially for our younget students, led to the creation of a fund supporting scholarships for children.

Priscilla Young Giving Fund

An honored board member, student, and artist, Priscilla had a vision to Fund The Mission at Clay Art Center. This led to the creation of a general support fund, recognizing Priscilla’s passion about our mission and the work we do in the community by donating to our general support fund.

The Barbara Rittenberg Residency Artist Fund

A valued board member and artist. In her memory, Clay Art Center and her family have created the Rittenberg Residency, which helps support an Artist in Residence in a 12-month program.

Donations to this fund allow emerging artists to come to Clay Art Center and gives them time and space to develop their creative voices.

The Audrey Greenwald Memorial Equipment Fund

Audrey was an architect who had a deep passion for working with clay and helped Clay Art Center in its early days. Donations to this fund are used to underwrite the costs of capital improvements to Clay Art Center, the purchase of studio and classroom equipment, and other expenditures that are critical to studio operations.
