Clay Art Center is pleased to announce that our Annual Hand in Hand Benefit and Auction will take place on Saturday, October 17, from 4:00-6:00 PM.
This year, we are honoring the Common Sense Fund, in recognition of their 15 years of generous support of Clay Art Center's Around the World in Clay program, and critical strengthening of our capabilities. The Common Sense Fund promotes action both on the environment and in the arts that is practical, creative, and addresses social needs. Clay Art Center addresses the creative and social needs of the local Port Chester public school community by providing FREE access to after school clay programming. Our Around the World in Clay program offers students the opportunity to learn about the history and importance of ceramics in different cultures around the world while giving each student the freedom to interpret and create themed projects using their own unique perspectives and imagination.
Tickets for Hand in Hand 2026 will go on sale August 12.
Proceeds from the event play a critical role in supporting our Mission, including scholarships, community arts programs, our 25+ year strong Artist-in-Residence Program, and ongoing operations. Auction bidding on artist-donated ceramics takes place online from anywhere in the country, with auction previews available in advance both in person at Clay Art Center, and online.
We can't wait for you to join us in celebrating our honorees during an evening of community, fun and creativity!
