Empty Bowls is an international grassroots movement addressing hunger. For more than 25 years, Clay Art Center has mobilized hundreds of community members and artists to create thousands of handmade ceramic bowls. Together, with the Rye Presbyterian Church and a host of volunteers, over $80,000 has been raised in the fight to end food insecurity in Westchester County.
Soup and bread are offered with the purchase of a bowl (made by students, artists, and staff volunteers at Clay Art Center).
All proceeds are donated to local organizations dedicated to alleviating food insecurity to help families in need in Port Chester, NY.
