Are you stuck in a glaze rut? Do your glaze attempts misbehave? If you said yes, this is the class for you.

During this High Fire Glaze Exploration class Ed Myder will help to elevate your glaze experience. The key to beautiful work in cone 10 reduction is to understand how the studio glazes behave together and embrace the variety of outcomes.

This class will discuss and put into practice basic chemistry specifically the results of various glaze combinations. Expressive application techniques will be utilized, along with tips regarding run-off prevention.

Students will have the opportunity to discuss the results of the firing in the second class.

• Intermediate glazing; must have basic glazing experience.

• Students should bring at least 3 - 4 bisque pieces. (we can provide bisque pieces if necessary)

• Firing fees are NOT included.
