Julia Galloway: The Endangered Species Project Opening Reception

The Endangered Species Project, with 288 works by Julia Galloway, is the fourth core exhibit in our year-long gallery focus titled ‘Animal Instinct”, exploring the animal kingdom. Bringing awareness to our impact on our natural environment, Julia Galloway presents her installment of a large project consisting of beautiful urns for near-extinct animals of New York State. Everyone who attended the opening reception on September 28th was moved by Julia’s powerful speech about her mission to have an exhibition in all the continental states over the next four years highlighting the animals in each state that are on the endangered species list. We are honored to host the exhibit for New York State. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these works will go to the Westchester Land Trust.

This exhibit is in the gallery through November 11. Many thanks to our Media Sponsor: Westchester Magazine.
