In this hands on workshop, participants will focus on making matching sets on the wheel—nesting bowls, dinnerware, and sets of cups that actually feel like they belong together. The workshop will cover practical tips for measuring and throwing consistently sized pieces, so your sets are cohesive without being overly rigid.
Participants will explore the design side of ceramic sets: how to create pieces that complement each other in form, surface, and style—even if they’re not identical. At the end of the workshop, you’ll have a solid set of strategies (and hopefully a few finished sets!) and the ability to bring more intention and unity to your wheel-thrown work.
Clay and Firing are not included.
Experience Level: Intermediate Beginners
Prerequisite: A few wheel classes.
