Small in scale but rich in challenge, miniature forms require precision and thoughtful technique. In this one-day workshop, students will explore the full process of throwing, shaping, trimming, and finishing small-scale vessels, with special focus on the subtle adjustments needed to thrive when working in miniature..
Student requirements;
An old hotel key/credit card or gift card
basic clay tool kit
Suggested / not required;
Prerequisite: Some clay experience.

Artist Bio;
Jon Puzzuoli is a full time ceramicist of 22 years. By day his life is absorbed in clay, both creating and teaching and by night he’s a social media influencer. Jon’s passion emanates from educating others in the art of pottery. Jon is head of the Ceramics Department at Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan and Co-Chair of its Guild of Artists. Developing vivid blue and gold glazes as well as growing crystals on the surface of his wares are a particular focus.
