Ages 17+
In this 8 week class students will have the opportunity to explore mold making and slip casting. Sarah will help students to understand the methods and practical application of mold making from potential object choice to best practices in slip casting. Students will leave the course with at least 1 one part mold, 1 two part mold and the knowledge necessary to continue to make molds and slip cast both safely and effectively.
This class is for all levels although some clay experience is required.
Students should submit images of the objects that they would like to slip cast for approval.
Objects should be no larger than 6’ x 6’.
