A Community Celebration of Rising Stars

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Opening Reception of the Rising Stars annual student exhibition!

Before we hunkered down for this past weekend’s snow storm, our community gathered together to enjoy the Opening Reception for the Rising Stars annual student exhibition. This show is an opportunity to display over 150 ceramic works by students and teachers from across all different classes here at Clay Art Center, all made in the past calendar year. From enormous bowls to tiny elephants, intricate menorahs to colorful wall pockets, bold sculptures to ticking clocks, the exhibition showcases the incredible creativity of makers at all stages in their clay journeys. We are always awed by the imagination, tenacity, and joy that students and teachers bring to their work, and we are so grateful that they share that passion with us, and that our community joins us in celebrating the growth that takes place in Clay Art Center programs every year.
