Artist Statement
I wish to bring people into that intimate space of creation with the most wonderful of handmade and purposeful objects that we embrace during the daily rituals of our lives. As a ceramic artist I am always striving for the form that is hidden within the clay. Chasing the subtlety of a curve, the arch of a neck, or the rounded fullness of a lip. In my work I want to freeze the moment, the movement, the joy of making the forms that I see in my creative process come to life and take their first breath.
