In this in-person workshop, Exhibitions and Marketing Director Regina Farrell-Fagan will take you through the steps of developing your artist presentation toolkit. From tips on taking great photos to preparing your Artist Statement, this workshop focuses on assembling the go-to essentials for applying to exhibitions, galleries, and calls for entry.

Take this workshop as a stand-alone or follow it up with Marketing Toolkit Workshop to learn about marketing your work!

 What to bring:

  • A phone for taking photos (this class does not cover individual camera photography but does cover lighting, and other best practice photo topics)

  • A laptop or tablet to type on (for notes, and for crafting your Artist Statement)

  • A notebook if you prefer

$65 for 3 hours

Bio:

Regina Farrell-Fagan is the Exhibitions and Marketing Director at Clay Art Center, former founder of Cara Art Studio, Bronx NY, and former Gallery Director at Tapir Editions, NYC. She graduated from Galway-Mayo Institute, Ireland with an Honors Diploma in Art & Design, and from Lehman College, NY with a BA in Studio Art (Ceramics), and holds Professional Certification in Marketing. With over 20 years in the arts and arts administration world, Regina brings a wealth of expertise to share with students and emerging artists. Regina continues her artistic practice with clay, and fiber arts, and also freelances as a marketing consultant in Westchester County.
