Learn the fundamentals of how to use the potter's wheel as a tool to make functional pottery like cylinders, cups, bowls, and more in this introductory course. You will be guided through the process of throwing, shaping, and trimming your pieces. Discover your creative voice through basic surface decoration and glazing techniques.

Student Policy Overview

No refunds are issued for cancellations made within 30 days of class date for raku glaze firing. This is because it’s extremely difficult to find a replacement student if there’s not enough time to make and bisque pieces.
There are no refunds or pro-rating options for missed classes.
Tuition does not include clay or firing fees for bisque.
All class confirmations are sent by email 1 week prior to the start of class. Classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled and payment fully refunded.
